Rawi Hage, an IMPAC Award-winning author whose debut novel De Niro’s Game was based on his childhood in war-torn Lebanon, is one of the headliners at this year’s annual book festival, Wordfest. Hage will be joined by Austin Clarke—a Giller Prize-winner and author of The Polished Hoe—as well as 68 other writers and poets. Calgary hometown girl Leslie Feist hits the road this fall for a cross-Canada tour. Inspired by the feminist award-winning play, the Vagina Monologues, Cocktales is a candid look at the relationship men have with their private members. Ground Zero Theatre presents 14 hilarious monologues about male genitalia and the many ways men get into trouble.
