Nestled in the heart of Calgary, the Calgary Zoo is never the same trip twice! Trek through the heart of Africa as you visit the gorillas in the tropical TransAlta Rainforest or safari through the Savannah and watch underwater hippo viewing and giraffes freely roaming. Hike up through the Rockies to watch grizzlies, cougars, bighorn sheep and many more animals who call Canada home. Don’t miss the majestic Siberian Tigers or venture over the outback to see the wallabies. If its tranquility you need, you’ll find it anywhere in nearly 6 acres of ornamental gardens and in the serenity of the Conservatory. Take a world tour you will never forget at The Calgary Zoo!

CALGARY ZOO

More than 900 animals from around the world including endangered species such as Siberian tigers and Western Lowland gorillas. North American animals are showcased in The Canadian Wilds, Aspen Woodlands, Rocky Mountains and Northern Forests habitat. Destination Africa features modern enclosures for rainforest and savannah animals.

Daily 9 am - 5 pm. Admission $18 adult, $16 sen, $12 youth/stu (13 - 17), $10 child, children under 3 free.

At the Calgary Zoo C-Train stop or via Memorial Drive, with north and west parking lots.
