CANADA OLYMPIC PARK

The premier site of the '88 Olympic Winter Games, which continues to function as a year-round recreation and training facility. Winter attractions include downhill skiing, snowboarding and a luge and bobsleigh track. In summer, the park is home to 25 km of mountain bike trails, mini golf, a Eurobungee trampoline, climbing wall and Z-Trip, the chance to tumble downhill while strapped inside a giant translucent ball. Their year-round zip line, the Skyline, sends you down a cable from the 90-metre-high ski jump tower to the base of the hill. Catch the magic of the Olympics with a multi-language audio tour of the Ice House, jump tower, Olympic Museum and chairlift. There is also a retail shop, food court and a lounge with patio, as well as Sunday brunch at the Naturbahn Teahouse. Guest services open Mon to Fri 8 am - 9 pm, Sat, Sun to 5 pm. Park opens for winter activities Nov 9.
