The Canadian Birkebeiner Ski Festival 2009

Canada's premier cross-country ski event features a 55-km point-to-point course from the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village along Elk Island National Park and through the scenic Blackfoot Recreation Area. A Nordic fair opens the festival on the first day and a Viking Feast crowns it on the final day. The 2009 theme: Feel the Heartbeat…Ski the Legend. Feb 13 - Feb 14,
