Royal Canadian Mint

The national mint fabricates circulation coins and related products for the world market, including collector coinage, medallions, medals, tokens, and bullion coins. It also operates the oldest gold refinery in the western hemisphere. Boutique on site. Guided tours. Open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Open Sundays in summer months. Weekday tours: Adults, $5; children, $3; seniors, $4. Weekend tours: Adults: $3.50; children, $2; seniors, $2.80.
