Until Dec. 7: Katy Le Van's installation, entitled 'Ready-to-Wear', examines the nature of desire in fashion and seduction. Banal domestic materials are transfigured into mere aesthetic matter, conveying objectives that are fleeting, yet influential in our lives. Also on display is Erin Robertson's 'Out of the Frying Pan', a mixed media sculpture installation that follows a young feminist child as she eavesdrops on adult conversations after church. Jan. 11 to Feb. 22: Geneviève Piché's paintings depict an interior world inspired by children's drawings and created with spontaneous movements in 'Présences éclectiques'. Also on display: Raymonde Jodoin's 'Niellures' takes its name from a disease that leaves corn cobs with black blotches. The artist's chief medium is ink on "washi" (Japanese paper), emphasizing the contrast of black and white. Closed on Mondays.
