Dec. 5 to Jan. 18: The history of hockey in Ottawa is presented to visitors by the City of Ottawa Archives. The exhibition celebrates the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship which takes place in Ottawa. Feb. 6 to March 22: While Danny Hussey was watching 'The Simpsons' with his daughter, the DVD suddenly froze and the image on the screen became pixelated. Intrigued by the confused images that appeared there, Hussey began to create works of a cellular construction that imitated this pixelation. They consist of 144 wooden panels each and form fractured DVD stills of North America's beloved cartoon. April 10 to May 24: During the city-wide festival, B.C. Scene, the gallery will host 'A Little Distillery in Nowgong', a multimedia, interdisciplinary project based on Ashok Mathur's novel. The exhibition includes work by ceramist Brendan Lee Satish Tong, visual artist Diyan Achadi, and performance artist David Bateman. Open daily.
