Largely an Eastern European community, the area bustles with activity at pastry shops, delis, bookstores, pubs, cafés and boutiques. High Park, with 398 acres of beautiful parkland, a small zoo, the historic Colborne Lodge and Grenadier Pond, lies just east of the Bloor Street strip. Along nearby Roncesvalles Avenue, find Polish restaurants, butchers and bakeries. Bloor Street West, between Glendonwynne Road and Jane Street. Take the Bloor-Danforth subway to High Park, Runnymede or Jane stations.
