CLASS

In controversial works by some artists in the late 19th century, the working class was painted in a heroic light. In Representing Rural Life at Uno Langmann (through Aug.), vivid works by artists such as William Henry Knight, Hans Andersen Brendekilde and William Hemsley (pictured) depict people carrying out their daily duties. While you’re in the gallery - named for its Danish art-aficionado owner - browse the collection of museum-quality works from Europe and North America.
